Our team of Registered Nurses and Registered Dietitians are Certified Diabetes Educators and we are here to assist you in managing your diabetes.
We provide education on nutrition goals, blood glucose monitoring, activity and insulin pump therapy, pregnancy with diabetes, high cholesterol obesity, eating disorders, kidney failure diet restrictions, and special needs. Our Diabetes Program is recognized by the American Diabetes Association.
Diabetes is a disease process. You can have it without knowing it or having any symptoms. Feeling tired, thirsty, urinating frequently or several times during the night, tingling in hands or feet, change in appetite or weight can all be symptoms of diabetes.

A Registered Dietitian (RD) can help you personalize goals and safely meet your nutritional needs. Individual appointments are available for updated nutrition education in many areas including:

Diabetes and Medicare
Diabetes self-management training (DSMT) and Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) are covered by Medicare when authorized by your physician.
For follow-up education during the year after initial group DSMT training, an eligible beneficiary with diabetes will be allowed up to two hours of follow-up DSMT annually and up to two hours of follow-up MNT annually, IF DEEMED NECESSARY BY YOUR PHYSICIAN.
