The Heart Center is part of the national effort to improve Door-to-Balloon time - the time it takes from when a heart attack patient arrives at the ER, to the moment their artery is opened in the cardiac catheterization lab. Present national average is 180 minutes. At The Heart Center, our team achieves one of the lowest Door-to-Balloon times in the country, which is less than half the national average.
