Adaptive Technology Clinic
Directed by Occupational Therapists, this clinic aims to help individuals with disabilities gain greater independence in their home and work environments. Services include:
- Evaluation of individual capabilities and lifestyle needs
- Recommendations and information for solutions, such as remote controls for home electronics and computer keyboard modifications
- Low-cost loan library to trial equipment and solutions prior to purchase
Wheelchair Clinic
The Wheelchair Clinic is a comprehensive program providing evaluation and assessment for wheelchair seating and positioning. A specially-trained Physical Therapist along with a qualified vendor are present to appropriately match the equipment to the patient's level of function and needs.

- Flexibility & range of motion assessment
- Postural evaluation
- Biomechanical applications
- Pressure mapping
- Customized seating
- Identifying referral needs
Adaptive Driving Program
The Adaptive Driving Program is an Oregon DMV certified program through which Occupational Therapists provide participants and their physicians with objective feedback regarding their ability to drive safely.
Services include:
- In-clinic assessment of visual skills, functional mobility, reaction time and driving knowledge
- On-the-road driving assessment to evaluate driving skills in actual traffic situations
- Training and recommendations for vehicle adaptations
Augmentative and Alternative Communication Clinic
Directed by a Speech Language Pathologist, this clinic assists individuals with communication impairments resulting from stroke, brain injury, neurological disease, and developmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy.
Services include:
- Cognitive-linguistic pre-assessment to determine candidacy
- Demonstration and evaluation with communication equipment
- Written reports, recommendations, and funding requests if necessary
- Set-up and training on the use of communication systems with continued therapeutic support as needed
