Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation
Helping Children Help Themselves
At St. Charles, we take a "whole child" approach to helping children learn life skills and independence, providing comprehensive, child-specific programs in all three areas of pediatric therapy:
Through Pediatric Physical Therapy, children can develop functional mobility and fitness.
Pediatric Occupational Therapists promote independence in children, with role performance in the areas of home, school, play, and self-care.
The goal of Pediatric Speech Language Pathologists is to help children become successful communicators and independent language learners.
Whether your child needs physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy or a combination of these services the St. Charles rehabilitation team - in collaboration, when appropriate, with staff social workers and psychologists - will develop an interdisciplinary program that is individualized to meet his or her unique needs.
