Childbirth Preparation for New Mothers

A comprehensive six-week course providing an understanding of the labor and delivery process, and options for pain management. Topics include information on breathing, relaxation and support for the mother and her partner; newborn behavior, care, feeding; and management of respiratory emergencies. Held on an on-going basis; registration required. Our instructor is a Certified Lactation Educator (CLE ), and International Childbirth Educators Association-trained.

Childbirth Refresher

A three-hour course for women interested in reviewing current information on childbirth and newborn care. This class is not recommended for first-time mothers. Held on an on-going basis; registration is required. Our instructor is a Certified Lactation Educator (CLE ), and International Childbirth Educators Association-trained.

Look Good, Feel Better

Chemotherapy support for women

This program is sponsored by the American Cancer Society, MVH and Opal Day Spa. The information is aimed at women who are undergoing chemotherapy.
