Mountain View Hospital Foundation’s 6th Annual Golf Tournament Raises Over $23,000
The Mountain View Hospital Foundation’s 6th Annual Golf Tournament was held on Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Crooked River Ranch Golf Course, raising over $23,000 to benefit the Jefferson County Community.
The MVH Foundation Golf Tournament proceeds have been dedicated to the Community Health Improvement Partnership (CHIP), a program dedicated to making Jefferson County the healthiest community in the state.
“We are proud to see the generous support the Mountain View Hospital Foundation golf events continue to receive. This year, we had over 60 sponsors and 84 players that were excited to participate in the tournament. A special thanks to our Birdie Sponsors; Alliance Imaging, Central Oregon Radiology Associates and Skanska,” said Jay Henry, Mountain View Hospital ’s Chief Executive Officer.
The four-person scramble format tournament featured a morning (9 a.m.) shotgun start and an awards ceremony that included lunch. Golfers competed for prizes such as, 1st Place , 2nd Place , 3rd Place , Last Place , Closest to the Pin (Men & Women) and Longest Drive (Men & Women). In addition, Gary Gruner Chevrolet Buick Pontiac of Madras provided a 2008 Pontiac Solstice Convertible that golfers had an opportunity to win with a hole in one.
