Mountain View Professional Center Announces New Name and Logo
After an in-depth review involving multiple stakeholders to include caregiver, community, and physician input, Mountain View Hospital is excited to unveil a new name and logo for Mountain View Professional Center (MVPC). The practice will be known as Mountain View Medical and Surgical Associates and will operate under its new status as a Provider-Based Clinic (PBC) directed by Mountain View Hospital. The new name better reflects the clinic's mission to provide multi-specialty services. A new logo accompanies the name change. This 'tree of distinction' reflects the broad scope of practice representing a proud, integrated team. The new name and logo will be phased in over several months.
Mountain View Medical and Surgical Associates will feature the family practice of Dr. Nicholas Turek, and Obstetrics and Gynecology practice of Dr. Edward Shapiro. Other specialty services such as Cardiology, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, and Podiatry care will continue to be offered by visiting physicians from the region. To further meet the growing demands of the community, there is a comprehensive plan to further expand specialty services to incorporate Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Oncology and Dermatology care.
