Surgical Services
While the idea of undergoing surgery is never easy, today's advanced technology makes many surgeries less invasive and recovery times shorter. At Mountain View Hospital we provide the best surgical care for our patients by maintaining state-of-the-art equipment and highly skilled surgical teams.
The Surgical Team
Two General Surgeons and one Orthopedic Surgeon see patients at clinics in Madras and do surgeries at Mountain View Hospital. We have an OB/Gyn. physician that bases his practice at Mountain View Hospital, and a Podiatrist that does procedures at Mountain View as well as see patients once a week at Madras Professional Center. We have a well-equipped surgery suite and a procedure room. Our Family Practitioners offer highly skilled assistance as well as perform C-Sections. Our nursing and technical support people are specially trained and certified in advanced life saving procedures and practices.
Preparing For Surgery
Procedures are planned in advance, working in tandem with your medical care provider and your surgeon. Members of the Mountain View Hospital Surgery Team (including an anesthetist) will meet with you and explain how to prepare for your procedure. During this meeting you will learn what you can expect before, during and afterwards.
State-of-the-Art Equipment and Services
As of November 2007 we are able to offer state-of-the-art surgery lights as well as new vital signs monitoring equipment for use in the Procedure and Recovery rooms.
Our facility also handles a variety of inpatient and outpatient surgeries including:
