Child and Teen Health Care at Pioneer Memorial Hospital

Children and teens are a very important part of the health care we deliver at Pioneer Memorial Hospital. From preventive care, such as annual physical exams and immunizations, to care as a patient in our hospital, our practioners recognize the unique challenges parents face today. If ever your children become ill or injured, you will find that healthcare at PMH combines the best of technology with compassion to deliver the medical care you've come to count on for your family.

  • The doctors, physician assistants and supportive caregivers at PMH are experienced in the care, monitoring and treatment of illnesses and injuries that affect children and teens.
  • On-site, our Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) Departments are equipped to provide the testing and screenings your care provider needs as he or she follows your children's progress.
  • Therapy services are available, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.

One of the benefits to being in the care of our Family Practitioner is the fact that they come to know your child as a whole person, someone with a family as well as someone with a medical history. So not only will your child or teen receive the care that today's technology can provide, you and your family will become part of our medical family as we hold you in our care.

Should your child's health indicate a referral to a specialist, your family physician can refer you to a practitioner who specializes in that care, whether in Central Oregon or beyond our area.
