What is Respiratory Therapy?

Respiratory therapists are healthcare professionals who specialize in helping people to breathe and they play an integral role in the overall healthcare team. Our respiratory therapists use medications, therapies and tests to assist in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of heart and lung disease and they also perform pulmonary function testing.
