We have two well-equipped surgery suites and one procedure room.
Visiting Orthopedic Specialists are available and our Family Practitioners ably assist.
Anesthesia services are provided by our expert Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.
Our nursing and technical support people are all specially trained and certified in advanced life saving procedures and practices.
Preparing For Surgery
Procedures are planned in advance, working in tandem with your medical care provider and your surgeon. A member of the PMH Surgery Team will meet with you and explain how to prepare for your procedure. During this meeting you will learn what you can expect before, during and afterwards.
State-of-the-Art Equipment and Services
New equipment this year includes a state-of-the-art anesthesia machine with anesthesia awareness monitor, power equipment for Orthopedics, and a camera and monitor for Laparoscopy and Arthroscopy.
In 2006 over 1,100 surgical procedures were performed at PMH including: Upper & Lower Endoscopy, Caesarean Section, Joint Replacement, Vascular Surgery, General — Hernia Repair, Gallbladder, Appendix, Mastectomy, and Laparoscopic procedures.
