As the first hospital in Oregon to be built by citizens with tax dollars, St. Charles Redmond has a proud tradition as a community-based hospital.

For more than 50 years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to taking care of our neighbors in a compassionate environment. Our physicians and caregivers have always felt an emotional bond to the patients and community we serve.

Some may wonder if this commitment has changed now that we are part of a regional healthcare system, Cascade Healthcare Community.

Rest assured, our commitment to the Redmond community is as strong as ever. The difference is now we are able to offer a modern, state-of-the-art medical facility to back up our exceptional and personal patient care.

Since merging with St. Charles Bend in 2001, our hospital has made incredible advances in facilities and technology. In 2006, we opened the $30 million Jeld-Wen Tower, adding more than 40,000 square feet to the existing hospital.

St. Charles Redmond now features four of Oregon’s newest and most advanced surgical suites. We offer new state-of-the-art patient care rooms and a warm, comforting lobby for families. Our physicians provide a full range of in- and out-patient services.

We want patients in Redmond and the outlying areas to know they can receive quality care, close to home. Yet, if they need to access specialists at St. Charles Bend, they can do so seamlessly because we are part of a regional healthcare system.

As we look to the future at St. Charles Redmond, we have plans for more expansion to keep up with the demands of our fast-growing community. Our highest priority, however, will be to stay connected to our patients and our community. Here, the patient experience is at the center of all we do, and we want to empower every patient to play an active role in his or her own care and healing.
