St. Charles Redmond Emergency Department Open House Thursday, April 10

St. Charles Redmond will hold an Open House Preview of their newly finished expansion to their Emergency Department on Thursday, April 10. It will be held in conjunction with the Redmond Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on that date.  

The public is invited to attend.   There will be a brief dedication and blessing of the space, tours and light refreshments.  

People are encouraged to come to the main entrance where they will be escorted to the new department, instead of coming to the current Emergency Department entrance where patient care will likely be in progress.

The new unit:
• Increases the number of patient beds to eight
• A better arrangement for trauma patients—two dedicated beds, a fully-equipped space
• Doors for all beds add privacy and patient peace of mind, comfort
• Four computer work stations located in the center of the unit, caregivers will be able to enter data more quickly
• Better location for storing supplies and miscellaneous equipment

Tuesday, April 15, marks the first day the St. Charles Redmond caregivers will utilize the new Emergency Department.
