The Emergency Department at St. Charles Redmond provides 24-hour immediate care for injured and sick patients. Our highly skilled staff is prepared to treat a full range of medical conditions that require swift and effective treatment.

To better serve our growing community, St. Charles Redmond recently embarked on an expansion of the Emergency Department to increase our number of licensed beds to 14. We are committed to offering modern and advanced emergency services in a compassionate environment.

The Emergency Department Care Team

Our 24-hour immediate medical care is provided by Team Health emergency physicians, nurse practitioners and physician's assistants.

Registered nurses in the Emergency Department are specially trained in providing trauma care to adults and children. In addition, St. Charles Redmond offers Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) nurses who are trained to provide physical and emotional care to victims of sexual abuse.

Social workers are available to provide counseling to patients and family members who are impacted by traumatic injury, sexual abuse, domestic violence, loss of a loved one or other crises.

Ground ambulance and AirLink air ambulance services provide transport for patients who need to be transferred from the Emergency Department to other medical facilities for more specialized care.

Care for All

The St. Charles Redmond Emergency Department follows the rules set by Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA). Every patient to the Emergency Department will be given a medical examination and the patient's condition will be stabilized regardless of ability to pay.
