Intensive Care Unit

Our Intensive Care Unit opened a new 6-bed unit on the 2nd floor of the new patient tower in September 2007. The large patient rooms provide space for equipment, staff and families and the large windows in each room provide a natural source of daylight.

Acute and Intensive Care Services

The unit cares for a wide variety of acute and intensive care patients including:

• Respiratory patients
• Cardiac patients
• Remote monitoring of step-down cardiac patients
• Septic patients
• High risk surgical patients
• Trauma patients

Our Care Team

The Intensive Care Unit is staffed with Registered Nurses and a monitor tech/Certified Nurses Assistant. The Intensive Care Unit has an active UPC and focuses on evidence based practice.
