Respiratory Care Department Staff
More Efficient. Better Care.
Our staff provides better care more efficiently because each therapist follows a unique approach using proven respiratory therapy protocols. This in-depth question and answer point score evaluation helps us to determine your ideal plan of care and intensity of treatment. Developed by a team of physicians and therapists, these protocols help us to micro-adjust every course of action, which speeds the most accurate treatment for each patient's unique condition.
Every member of our respiratory therapy team holds national certification/registration and is licensed by the State of Oregon as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. In addition, each therapist must hold Level 1 or Level 2 respiratory therapy certification defined as:
-
Level 1: a certified respiratory therapist or a registered respiratory therapist.
-
Level 2: a registered respiratory therapist with more training to achieve Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification and special training to be a Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)
Some of our therapists hold an AE-C certification - a nationally recognized certification for Asthma Education.
