Helping You Before and After Your Surgery

Thank you.The Perioperative Department at St. Charles Redmond provides you and your family with the highest level of care and all the services you’ll need before and after your surgery.

Once you and your physician have determined that surgery is the right option for you, we take it from there – helping you with everything you need to prepare for and recover from your surgical or diagnostic procedure. Whether you’re having inpatient or outpatient surgery, our exceptional perioperative team will provide you with the highest quality in patient care and make sure you know what is happening throughout the entire process.

Our services include:

• Pre-admit testing, possibly including electrocardiograms (ECG), various blood tests and education
• Pre-operative preparation on the day of your procedure
• Intravenous therapy (IV) for fluids, medications, blood transfusions and other IV therapies, if needed
• Additional support and education from the operating room professionals
• Post-operative care, including pain management
• Discharge and at-home instructions

In addition to services before and after your surgery, we also provide a full range of endoscopic services.
