Cascade Healthcare Community elects Todd Taylor as chairman of Board of Directors

Tom Sayeg elected vice chairman and two new members appointed to board

Bend, Ore. – During the annual meeting of the Cascade Healthcare Community Board of Directors’ today, Todd Taylor was elected as the new chairman. Taylor was appointed to the board in November of 2006 and is the president of Taylor Northwest. The board’s former chairman, Spike Biggers leaves the board after seven years of service with Cascade and five prior years on the board of the former Central Oregon District Hospital in Redmond.

Tom Sayeg was elected to serve as the vice chairman on the board and also began serving on the board in November of 2006. Both chairman and vice chairman serve in their roles for one year of the overall three-year board term. No board member is permitted to serve more than three terms.

Robin Gould and Doug Downer are newly elected members of the board and will replace the two positions vacated by Biggers and Judy Delahunt. Gould has a broad background and has worked for a variety of major corporations to include E&J Gallo Winery, Guess? Inc. and Mars Inc. Downer owns Sundowner Capital Management located in Bend.
