St. Charles Home Health Services to offer flu vaccine and foot clinic the next three Wednesdays
Bend, Ore. – St. Charles Home Health will be offering a foot clinic and flu vaccinations starting this Wednesday, Oct. 22, and will continue to offer the clinic on the following two Wednesdays Oct. 29 and Nov. 5. The foot clinic will include a full foot assessment, soaking, nail care, callous care, lotion application, education as needed and possible referral to a podiatrist. The foot clinics are especially important for the elderly, diabetics, patients with circulatory issues or patients who cannot see or reach their feet.
Flu shots are extremely important to the elderly population to protect against possible infection during the fall and winter months. Flu shots are covered by most insurance providers, Medicare and Medicaid.
Attendees can receive both the foot clinic and the flu vaccine or just one service.

Cost – Foot clinic is $20 and $25 for diabetics. Flu shots are $25. St. Charles Home Health Services can bill Medicare and Medicaid. Those covered by insurance will need to request reimbursement from their provider.
